General Terms and Conditions
Prices
The prices displayed on our website are for accommodation per night or per week, unless otherwise specified.
All prices are quoted in Euros or the currency selected by the user. The prices include all applicable taxes. The tourist tax is reflected separately during the booking process. This tax may vary depending on the length of stay, the accommodation category, the number of persons, or the selected dates. The calculation made by our software may not reflect the exact amount, and any discrepancies will be manually adjusted by our team in compliance with the law.
Prices may change at any time without affecting confirmed bookings, except in the case of legal or regulatory changes in taxes as set by the competent authorities.
The prices include exclusive use of the property for the selected period, according to the contracted terms, as well as cleaning before arrival, all bed linen, a change of sheets every 7 days, periodic towel changes, property maintenance, utilities such as water, electricity, gas, internet, and any other security or supply costs that may apply. A customer support service is available during business hours and an emergency service is available 24/7.
Reservation Process
Once a reservation is made for one of our properties, our team will verify the details and confirm the availability of the property for the indicated dates. This process will be carried out automatically or within a maximum of 24 hours from the time the request is sent. You will receive an email with the booking confirmation, a receipt, and detailed information about the property's location, directions, contact person, key handover, and available services.
If you do not receive the confirmation email within the 24-hour period, or if there is any error in the confirmation, please notify us in writing as soon as possible via our email address.
Making a reservation and paying the confirmation deposit constitutes a complete agreement between the parties, guaranteeing that you are at least 18 years of age and have the authority to accept and comply with these terms and conditions, as well as all annexes and regulations related to vacation rentals and compliance with accommodation regulations and local laws.
Payment Methods and Deposits
To confirm a reservation, a deposit is required as a guarantee for the availability of the property on the requested dates. The payment of this deposit formalizes the contractual relationship with Sonnevillas Menorca S.L. and/or the property owner or marketer. The general terms and conditions for deposits are as follows:

For bookings made 30 or more days in advance: The deposit will be 20% of the total booking price.

For bookings made 30 or fewer days in advance: The deposit will be 100% of the total booking price.
The tourist tax (Ecotasa) can be paid in advance or on arrival, provided the total amount corresponds to the number of people staying.
As a general rule, for reservations made in advance with the corresponding deposit, the remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the arrival date. Otherwise, a reminder will be sent, and you will have 48 hours to pay the remaining balance. If the payment is not received within this time, the reservation will be canceled, and cancellation charges will apply.
For some properties and special payment conditions, it is possible to pay the remaining balance on the same day of arrival, provided the payment is made before check-in. If you require special payment conditions, please contact us at reservas@sonnevillas.com.
Reservation Modifications
Generally, we do not guarantee the possibility of modifying a confirmed reservation. However, if you wish to make any changes, please contact our reservation center as soon as possible, and we will check if the modification can be made, provided no obstacles arise.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to reservas@sonnevillas.com, accompanied by a valid reason, and will incur the following cancellation fees:

Cancellations made 180 or more days before the arrival date: A 15% management fee of the total booking cost.

Cancellations made between 30 and 180 days before the arrival date: A 20% management fee of the total booking cost.

Cancellations or no-shows made 30 or fewer days before the arrival date: A 100% management fee of the total booking cost.
The company is not responsible for the reasons for cancellations and will apply these conditions unless they conflict with the applicable regulations in Spain at the time of cancellation.
The company reserves the right to cancel a reservation and refund the full amount to the customer or offer an alternative date or property in cases of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Check-in and Check-out

Check-in time: Standard check-in time is from 15:00 on the first day of your reservation. Some properties may have different check-in times, which will be specified. We strive to make the property available as soon as possible, and early check-in may be possible if the property is ready.

Check-out time: Standard check-out time is before 10:00 on the last day of your reservation. Upon request and subject to availability, late check-out may be allowed for an additional fee of €40.
Special Services and Requests
We aim to accommodate all special requests or extra services during your stay. If you require any additional services, please let us know, and we will do our best to meet your needs.
Accommodation for People with Reduced Mobility
Some of our properties are specifically adapted for people with mobility impairments. Please contact us for more information. We also offer other properties with easy access, all on one level, which may be suitable for some individuals with reduced mobility.
Number of Occupants
The maximum number of occupants is specified in the property descriptions according to the Law 8/2012, of the Tourism of the Balearic Islands. Exceeding this limit is not permitted, and failure to comply with this rule may lead to the termination of the contract. Sonne reserves the right to ask unauthorized occupants to vacate the property, and the customer will forfeit any rights to claims or compensation in case of incidents, personal injuries, or civil liability.
Behavior
Sonne expects all customers to behave respectfully and civically, both with the property and the neighbors. If complaints or reports arise due to improper behavior, the company reserves the right to remove the responsible individuals or all occupants without refund. Additionally, inappropriate behavior may result in forfeiting the security deposit, even if no damage occurs.
Failure to respect the check-out time will result in the forfeiture of the entire security deposit. If the property is still occupied after the cleaning service arrives at 10:00 AM, a 15-minute grace period will be given for vacating the property. A delay beyond this period will result in the loss of the deposit.
Pets
As a general policy, pets are not allowed in our properties. Exceptions are made for assistance animals, provided prior authorization from the property owner is obtained. If you require this, please contact us to facilitate your stay. Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate contract termination and eviction without refund.
Complaints
If you have any complaints during your stay, please inform us as soon as possible. Sonne will not accept complaints made after the stay. We are committed to resolving any issues efficiently. We also provide complaint forms in accordance with current legislation.
Security Deposit
A security deposit is required for properties managed by Sonne. This deposit is payable in cash before check-in or through a pre-authorization on your credit card. The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after check-out, provided no damage is found. Sonne reserves the right to use part or all of the deposit to cover the costs of repairs or replacements if necessary.
Change of Property
In case of force majeure or any defects in the reserved property, Sonne reserves the right to change the property for one of equal or superior category, subject to the customer’s approval. If no alternative is available or the customer does not accept the change, we will refund the total amount paid for the unused days.
Liability
Sonnevillas Menorca S.L. is not responsible for loss of luggage, theft, personal injuries, material damages, or accidents unrelated to the management of the company. The company is not responsible for incidents with any third-party services contracted through our website, such as transfers, car rentals, tours, etc.
The company makes all efforts to ensure that property images and descriptions are accurate, but we are not responsible if the actual property or its contents do not match the description. We reserve the right to provide alternative solutions to address any discrepancies or deficiencies.
Data Protection
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we inform you that your personal data will be incorporated into a file managed by Sonnevillas Menorca S.L. for the purpose of managing your booking. Personal data may also be used for marketing purposes with your explicit consent. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law. Sonnevillas Menorca S.L. and the user, for the resolution of any dispute, submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Maó-Mahón, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond
